The FANN was created in 1997 to promote the artful depiction of the human form in the medium of photography. Since that time, it has become one of the web's major portals for those searching for fine art nudes.
Many sites have attempted to imitate the success of the FANN, but most have fallen victim to a bloated list of glamour and sometimes outright pornographic sites. The FANN has no interest in sites which could be classified as glamour, girl-next-door or porn. We wish to put quality before the quantity of sites which we list.
We are interested in original sites that put the 'art' of the nude before all else. We are particularly interested in new photographers and new creative sites.
Here are a few more tips as to what we are and are not looking for in new sites.
As stated before, we are not interested in glamour or girl-next-door sites.
We are looking for attractive clean and uncluttered design. Sites covered with banners and logos will not make the list.
We are interested in listing those sites which have original or unique work and that are updated regularly.
We are also complying a comprehensive link list of Fine Art Nude Photography sites. Even though your site may not be
featured on our main FANN pages, we will attempt to put all submitted sites on our link pages. In exchange for this free listing we ask you to place just a small text link to http://fineartnude.com/ on the front page of your web site.
